My clothes are fitting like they used to. I’m so happy about that!
We went to a funeral a week ago and I wore a new dress that I had bought in October, and it fits me better than when I bought it!
My final goal is 125 lbs, and today I weighed 131, so I’m well on my way of hitting it before my April 30 wedding anniversary, six weeks away!
Losing weight is exciting, with weekly rewards of seeing the scale move and clothes looking great. The bigger challenge is keeping it off. A coworker is from another country, and he says if someone there loses weight, they are likely to keep it off, but Americans have a totally different mindset, and they gain it back.
We need to teach Americans how to maintain a healthy weight permanently. Weight maintenance is an underserved area, possibility because companies can’t make money in that landscape. How can we help? Pete Weintraub is leading the charge!
